Delhi
Day 01: Arrival Delhi
Welcome on arrival at Delhi International Airport by our representative
who transfers you to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 02: Delhi
Taj & Tiger Tour of India starts with exploring Delhi.
Morning, after breakfast, proceed for a full day city sightseeing
tour. Visit Red Fort and Jama Masjid, the two famous historic
sites of Old Delhi and also enjoy an exciting cycle rickshaw
ride in Chandni Chowk. Then, tour through New Delhi watching
en route Rashtrapati Bhawan, India Gate, Qutub Minar, Humayun's
Tomb and Lotus Temple. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Delhi - Agra
Today, leave for Agra to enjoy an unforgettable tour to the
unparalleled Taj Mahal in India. After breakfast, proceed
to Agra (202 km/4 hrs) by road and check in to hotel on arrival.
Later, visit the magnificent Taj Mahal and Agra Fort and retire
to the hotel at night.
Day 4: Agra - Bandhavgarh
Today, after breakfast, we take you to an exiting tour to
Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. Board train in the morning from
Agra railway station to Umaria. The train reaches Umaria in
the evening and we then drive to Bandhavgarh. Upon arrival,
check in at the wildlife resort to spend the night.
Day 5: Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve
Prepare yourself for four days of sheer fun in the city of
the tiger. Morning, visit to the Bandhavgarh National Park
and enjoy game viewing at the forest. There are two jungle
safaris (morning and evening) arranged for you. Take an Elephant
Safari or enjoy a ride aboard an open-air Jeep into the thick
deciduous forest. Retire to the resort at night.
Day 6: Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve
Two jungle safaris in the morning and evening at Bandhavgarh
Tiger Reserve. Spend the entire day watching the amusing antics
of wildlife atop an Elephant or through a bumpy Jeep Safari.
Later in the day, stop by at the historic Bandhavgarh Fort
for a short visit before leaving for the resort.
Day 07: Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve
Today too, you will experience the absolute thrill of jungle
safaris at Bandhavgarh. Spend the whole day at the park and
try your luck spotting the tiger or other varied animals.
Return to the resort for a night stay.
Day 8: Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve
Enjoy another full day at the park riding atop an elephant
or take a jeep safari through the forest. You might just come
across a tiger. After having fun with 2 jungle safaris at
morning and evening, retire to the wildlife resort for the
night.
Day 9: Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve - Delhi
Before departing for Delhi, take another exciting tiger tour
in the morning through the Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. In the
evening, drive to the railway station at Umaria where you
board onward train to Delhi. Overnight aboard the train.
Day 10: Departure Delhi
Taj & Tiger Tour of India ends today. You arrive at Delhi
Railway Station in the morning and are escorted by our representative
to New Delhi International Airport. Board scheduled connecting
flight back home or continue tour to onward destination.
