• Poiman Karadu: Situated 9 km from Yercaud, this place can be seen from the plains to the east of the hill. You will get a blurred sight of a deer with two horns, visible in a cave between rocks on the hill. As you move closer, the strange vision gradually disappears.
  
  
• Bhavani: The confluence of the rivers Bhavani and Cauvery, sited 50 km from Yercaud, is home to the Sangameswarar temple, one of the most important pilgrim centers in South India.
