Climate
Mumbai's climate is moderated by the Arabian Sea. The temperature is hot during the summer from March till June. The monsoon arrives in mid-June and continues till September. The weather becomes cooler from October onwards as the pleasant winter sets in.
In summer, adequate precautions need to be taken to cope with the heat and humidity, such as wearing light cotton clothing, wearing a hat or sunshade while going outdoors and drinking plenty of liquids.
Best Time to Visit
The best time to visit Mumbai is during the winter from November to March since the weather is at its most pleasant during this season.
