Introduction:
Madhav Vilas Palace is located at Shivpuri, and is the Summer Capital of the Scindias. The entire Palace is tinted in pinkish red hue, much like a sweet rose flower. This lures the tourists and the travelers.

The Madhav Vilas Palace is also known as Mahal due to its colossal size and graceful appearance. There is a fantastic terrace atop, and the rooms are well bedecked with white marbles. The place of worship has an idol of Lord Ganesha, and is popularly known as Ganapati Mandap, Mandap in Hindi stands for a temple.
From the terrace of the Madhav Vilas Palace one can get an impressive view of the town of Shivpuri. Shivpuri has a National Park also known as Madhav National Park. In the Madhav National Park one can see some of the exquisite animals like Royal Bengal Tigers and Indian Bison, there are also other animals which are on the verge of extinction.

At present the palace has been converted into a Training Centre for the Intelligence Bureau, of the Government of India. Since there are only a few Training Centers in India for Intelligence Bureau, it is evident that the place has gained supreme importance.
