Jahaz Mahal
Built in the 15th century, the construction of Jahaz Mahal is believed to have been commissioned by Ghiyas al-Din. During his reign he built many beautiful buildings like pleasure domes, baths and palaces.
The name of the palace has been attributed due to its location in the midst of two lakes, Munj Talao on the west and Kapur Talao on the east. The 12 meter ship palace is a magnificent architectural marvel with two beautiful artificial lakes.
Description
The Jahaz Mahal is 56 feet long and 33 feet tall. The arched windows of the pavilion are extraordinarily magnificent and extremely unique in its design. The little domes, turrets and open pavilions are marvelous.
