The Town hall was built in the year 1904. It was originally called King Edwards Hall and later renamed as the Mahatma Gandhi Hall in 1948.
Description of Town Hall
The Town Hall in Indore is made of Seoni stone, with domes and staples that have now become one of the most significant landmarks of the city. There is a four faced clock tower in front of the Hall. So, the Town hall is locally called the Ghanta Ghar. The Town hall complex encloses within it a library, a children’s park and a temple. The Town Hall is the venue for book fairs and painting exhibitions.

Once you have reached Indore, there are Indore City buses that take you to the Town Hall within the city; there are also tempos, rickshaws and auto rickshaws.
