Introduction

Description
There are four life sized elephants that hold an elaborately decorated and carved gate of the Annapurna Temple. Within the complex , there is the main temple of Annapurna along with temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, Kal Bhairav and Hanuman. The Pravachan hall inside the Annapurna Temple complex is also well known. Beautiful and colorful paintings depicting stories from mythology adorn the outer walls of this Temple.

The Annapurna Temple is located near the Dashahara Maidan in Indore. Indore has a major commercial railway station under the Western Railways which has regular trains to and from different cities . The Devi Ahilyabhai Holkar International Airport in Indore has connecting flights to all major cities of India . Once you have reached Indore, there are Indore City buses that take you to the Annapurna Temple within the city, there are also tempos, rickshaws and auto rickshaws.
