Introduction
Chanderi is one of the main tourist attractions in Madhya Pradesh. The state is full of diversities and varieties and that makes it unique from any other state of India.
Buddhi Chanderi is situated on the bank of the river Urvashi. The place bears rich Vedic importance and so the place is highly significant in the pages of epic and history. There is a story behind the place as it is said that the king named Nala left Damayanti sleep in the forest named Narwar. She was successful reaching safe to the town named Chaidnagar. The route she took is known as Chanderi.
Apart from this there are other tourist attractions like Jain temples, Parameshwar Tal and others.
Parameshwar Tal located in north-west of Chanderi. The magnificent view attracts tourists to visit the land of beauty. Shri Laxman temple is situated in the on the bank of the tank and the temple was built by kings Aniruddha Singh.
