    Dugdhdhara Waterfall


    Introduction

    Dugdhdhara is the waterfall in Amarkantak. Amarkantak is a pilgrim spot in India. It is enriched with the life giving plants and shrubs. People mainly visit this region for its scenic beauty and also the abundant tourist spots that are charming and elegant at the same time. Actually the Amarkantak region lies in between the Satpura and the Vindhya Ranges. The river Narmada decorates the region with its iridescent water and it arises from the Jata of Shiva.

    In Hindi the term Dugdhdara means the shower of milk. The waterfall at Amarkantak is also known as the Dugdhdhara. Since the water falls from a high distance to the ground just like milk white cascade it is also known as the Dugdhdhara.

    Amarkantak is also rich in numerous plants and shrubs that have an elixir-like property; by virtue of this, one can be cured from a fatal sickness and also chronic diseases can be cured by these shrubs and plants. One can rely on the Indian Mythology, and only then they would know the charm of the waterfall of Dugdhdhara.
