Day 1 – Arrive at Delhi
You will be escorted from the Delhi International Airport to the hotel by our representative. The capital of India, Delhi is a marvelous tourist destination which offers a glorious past and a modern present. This blend of the traditional and the contemporary makes Delhi a unique place. Delhi, the capital of India offers an accurate introduction to India’s rich cultural heritage.
The night will be spent at the Delhi hotel you will be booked in.
Day 2 – Delhi
After completing breakfast our representative will take you on a local sightseeing of Old and New Delhi.
Old Delhi: Old Delhi offers some fantastic tourist sites like Raj Ghat, the location where Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation was cremated, also the famous Jama Masjid and the celebrated Red Fort.
New Delhi: the sightseeing of New Delhi includes a stop at the Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar, the famous Rajpath, the significant India Gate, Parliament House and the President’s Residence.
After the local sightseeing you will be taken on Agra by road. On arrival our representative will accompany you to the hotel you will be checked in.
Day 3 – Agra / Overnight train to Umaria
After completing breakfast you will be taken for a local sightseeing. It will comprise a visit to the celebrated Taj Mahal and the famous Agra Fort. After spending the day at these two marvelous monuments you will betaken to the railway station to board a train to Umaria. The train leaves at 1550 hrs.
Day 4 – Umaria – Bandhavgarh
You will arrive at Umaria at 0616 hrs and you will be taken to the famous Bandhavgarh tiger reserve. It is one of the most popular tiger reserves of India. After taking a close look at some of India’s rare species of wildlife enjoy a jeep safari in the jungle.
You will be taken to the hotel you are booked into.
Day 6 – Kanha
After finishing breakfast you will be taken to the Kanha National Park. You will be taken on an elephant safari to the national park. In the afternoon you can enjoy a Jeep Safari in the park.
Day 7 – Kanha – Kawardha
In the afternoon enjoy a drive to Kawardah. After checking in the hotel you will be taken to tribal village of the Bastars.
You will be booked into the Kawardha Palace. Overnight stay the palace.
Day 8 – Kawardha – Kanker (251 kilometers, 7 hours)
Enjoy a drive to the tribal village of Kanker. The clean and tranquil countryside is fascinating.
Spend a comfortable night at the Kanker Palace.
Day 9 – Kanker – Jagdalpur (120 kilometers, 3 hours)
Enjoy a drive to the villages of the Bastar tribes. Visit the anthropological museums at Jagdalpur.
Day 10 – Jagdalpur
Enjoy an entire day in the tribal village witnessing the lifestyle and culture of the different tribes. More than half of the population of the Bastar is occupied by the tribes.
Day 11 – Jagdalpur
The day will be spent enjoying the traditional arts and crafts of Bastar. The main crafts include terracotta, wooden work, weaving, wall paintings, stone carvings, metal crafts, and iron and bamboo crafts.
Day 12 – Jagdalpur
The day will be spent in exploring the jungles of the region. Enjoy the flora, fauna and wildlife of Jagdalpur.
Day 13 – Jagdalpur – Raipur (220 kilometers, 5 hours)
After finishing breakfast you will begin your journey to Raipur and enroute stop at Rajim, popularly known as Varanasi of Chhattisgarh.
Day 14 – Raipur
After finishing breakfast, you will be accompanied to the airport where you will board flight IC 7470 (Departure 0900 hours/ Arrival 1135 hours) to Delhi.
On arriving Delhi you will be taken to the International Airport to board a flight to your next destination.
