Kerala is situated on the South West Coast of the Indian peninsula, along the Arabian Sea.

The climate is tropical all year round. Summer lasts from April to June-July The maximum temperature is around 33°C. The Monsoon begins in July and it rains very heavily in Kerala. The weather becomes cooler as winter sets in and lasts from October to January. Winters are very pleasant in Kerala, as the temperature is never cold.

Kerala is pleasant to visit all year round. Winter is certainly the best time to visit Kerala, with the countryside at its greenest after the monsoon.
