Day 01: Arrival at Bangalore
As you arrive at Bangalore, our representative will meet you and transfer you to a hotel booked on ready occupancy basis. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Bangalore - Hassan
Have early breakfast and thereafter, we will drive you to Hassan en route visiting the renowned Jain pilgrim center of Sravanabelagola, famous for housing the colossal monolithic ‘Statue of Gomateshwara’. Standing majestically atop a hill, the statue is considered to be one of the largest monolithic statues in the world. Check into hotel upon reaching Hassan and spend the night there.
Day 03: Hassan
Hassan is famed as an ideal base to explore the historical sites of Belur and Halebid, located 17 kms apart from each other. Today we will take you to the ancient temples of Belur and Halebid which are famous as some of the finest examples of ancient Hoysala architecture. At Belur we will visit the Chennakesava temple dedicated to the Lord Vishnu, and the Shiva Temple at Halebid, enshrining a gigantic structure of Nandi. Return to hotel at Hassan for nightstay.
Day 04: Hassan - Mysore
Have early breakfast and set out for Mysore – the City of Palaces. In the afternoon you can visit some of the main tourist attractions of the city like historical Mysore Palace built by Wodeyar kings in 1912, the Gothic styled St. Philomena Church, Chamundeshwary Temple in Chamundi Hills and Brindavan Gardens. Spend night at hotel in Mysore.
Day 05: Mysore
Set out for Somnathpur in the morning. Upon reaching the place, we will visit the star shaped Hoysala Temple, dedicated to Prasanna Chennakeshava. Spend the afternoon relaxing and retire to the hotel at night.
Day 06: Mysore - Bangalore
Today morning we will drive you to Bangalore en route Srirangapatna – which was an ancient capital of Tipu Sultan. Here you can visit Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
In the afternoon, we will cover a sightseeing tour around Bangalore, wherein you can visit landmarks like Lal Bagh, Cubbon Park, Bangalore Fort and Tipu Sultan's Palace.
In the evening, we will transfer you to the airport for the connecting flight to your next destination.
