Goa, on the western coast of India, is easily accessible by air, rail and road.
Air: Goa is connected to the major cities of India by air. Goa's airport is at Dabolim, 29 km, from the capital of Goa, Panaji. India's national carrier Indian Airlines has daily flights from Mumbai and Delhi. Many charter flights from international destinations also operate to Goa as does Air India.
Rail: Goa is connected to many cities and towns by super-fast and express trains. Goa's major stations are at Margao and Vasco da Gama.
Road: Goa is well connected to all the major cities of India by a network of highways and roads. Kadamba bus stand in Panaji is the terminus from which Goa, Maharashtra and Karnataka Road Transport services operate.
Ship: There is a daily boat service from Mumbai. The local people also use ferries for transportation along the coast of Goa.
