ITINERARY 02
Delhi - Sarawasti - Lumbini - Kushinagar - Patna - Bodhgaya - Varanasi - Delhi
Day 01 - Delhi
Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be received by our representative and transferred to the hotel. Check in and rest. Later enjoy the city tour. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 02 - Delhi - Lucknow - Sarawasti
Transfer to the airport to take the flight to LUCKNOW, and upon arrival in LUCKNOW, you will be received by our representative and transferred to the Sarawasti. Upon arrival in Sarawasti, check into the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 03 - Sarawasti - Lumbini
Enjoy visiting Sarawasti - Buddha is said to have performed some miracles here. This holy place also has the famous Anand Bodhi tree, an offspring of the one, said to have been planted by Buddha's main disciple. And later drive to LUMBINI. Upon arrival in LUMBINI, check into the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 04 - Lumbini - Kushinagar
Visit LUMBINI - the birthplace of the Buddha. And then drive to KUSHINAGAR, and upon arrival check into the hotel. Kushinagar is where the Buddha finally attained Mahaparnirvana. Amongst the ruins are the Mukutbandhan Stupa and a beautiful statue of the reclining Buddha. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 05 - Kushinagar - Vaishali - Patna
Drive to Patna, enroute-visiting VAISHALI - Five years after the Enlightenment in Bodh Gaya, Lord Buddha came to Vaishali. And then drive to PATNA. Upon arrival in PATNA, check into the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 06 - Patna - Nalanda - Rajgir - Bodhgaya
Today you will be driven to BODHAGAYA, enroute visiting NALANDA - Lord Mahavira and the Buddha both taught here for years - and RAJGIR, Prince Siddharth, after he renounced his royal heritage came to this city to seek the path of salvation. Arrive at BODHAGAYA, and check into the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 07 - Bodhgaya - Varanasi
Visit BODHGAYA - Mahabodhi Temple and Niranjana River. Later drive to VARANASI. Upon arrival in VARANASI, check into the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 08 - Varanasi
Early morning enjoy the Boat Ride on the HOLY RIVER GANGES. And then visit Sarnath - where the Buddha preached his first sermon in the Deer Park. Here you can see the most impressive remains, as well as a modem temple. The Dharmarajika, Chaukhandi and Dharnek stupas are outstanding. There are also the remains of a monastery, and the beautifully polished Lion Capital of Ashoka. Later transfer to Railway station to take the train to DELHI. Stay overnight on board the train.
Day 09 - Delhi
Upon arrival, you will be received by our representative & transferred to the airport to take your flight back home.
